      Elizabeth Shoemaker, "second daughter of George Shoemaker, was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, March 5th, 1805, and died August 5th, 1846. She was married to Jacob Schatz who was born January 11th, 1798, and died March 7th, 1872. They resided in Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where they had a family of eleven children. John and George, two of their sons, lived in Canada for some time but returned to their native state many years ago. Michael, another son, came here some thirty years ago and at present resides at Wallaceville, Perth County, Ontario. He is a shoemaker by trade but at present he is engaged in farming. They have a small family of grown children."
