    In the year of our Lord eighteen hundred twenty two on the third of April in the evening at four o’clock, according to the trustworthy attestation of Nicolaus Wurm, inhabitant and master house carpenter in Bleidenrod, there was born from his wife, Barbara Lauer, a son, who was baptized the ninth of the same month, at which time he received the name Daniel. Godfather was Daniel Schäfer, unmarried son of Johann Henrich Schäfer in Bleidenrod, who, along with the father and me, the pastor who performed the baptism, has signed the current document below.
