      Death of a Preston Man

      Preston, Ont., July 12 - August Ploethner, aged 78, and a highly respected citizen of Preston, went out to cut hay in his field near the G.T.R. tracks. He was missed early yesterday morning by his wife, and search was made for him. Emil Brown, a neighbor, found the missing man dead in a corner of the hay field lying over his scythe, with his hand still grasping its handle. Deceased had been troubled with weakness of the heart, and death was probably caused by over-exertion.
