    Notes:

    Ann Pool was born in the Isle of Mull in Scotland and came to Canada as a small girl. According to Ann McGillivray Poole?s obituary in the Markham paper, she came to Canada with her mother, sister and two brothers. The family would have then been as follows:

    Effy McGillivray (widow), Marion McGillivray, Ann McGillivray, Archibald McGillivray and Neil NcGillivray with wife Margaret (Peggy) and infant son Donald. Neil and Margaret had 5 more children born to them while they lived in Markham Twp: Mary, Hugh, Alexander, Neil and Anne.

    Ann's Death Certificate gives her parents names as Daniel McGillveray and Elphenia MacFadden.
    John and Ann farmed on the east half of Lot 3, Conc. 7, Markham, Ont.
