    Moses Biehn, "was born July 24th, 1809. He was a farmer and resided in Wilmot Township, a little north of New Dundee, where he died July 24th 1869. He was married twice, first to Barbara Detweiler and after her decease to Sophia Krug. With the first wife there were eleven children.

    Moses married Margaret / Barbara Detweiler.     Abraham Biehn, "was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, February 7th, 1781. He was married to Veronica, daughter of Isaac and Barbara (Reiff) Shantz. She was born November 14th, 1789, and died July 27th, 1876. They resided on lot No. 1, Biehn's Tract, about one mile west of Doon, on the farm where his father had located in 1800. Here old Abraham Biehn and his wife resided until their death. He died November 3rd, 1858. their family consisted of five children."

    Jacob Dettweiler," son of Jacob and Mary Margaret (Harley) Detweiler, was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, March 27th, 1789. He moved to Canada in 1822 and settled near Blair, Ontario. On March 11th, 1813, he was married to Mary Gottwals. She was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, May 12th, 1790, and died April 10th, 1816, leaving two children. After his first wife's decease he was married to Esther Ziegler, December 31st, 1816. She was born November 15th, 1794, and died January 23rd, 1883. He died August 7th, 1875. His family consisted of ten children.

    Isaac Shantz, "was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, January 14th, 1748. On May 4th, 1774, he was married to Barbara Reiff who was born September 12th, 1753. He died on his farm situated on the Schuylkill River, within the corporation of Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania on October 11th, 1802. They had a family of nine children, eight of whom they raised. Their names are as follows: III Mary, III Abraham, III Christian, III Jacob, III Isaac, III David, III Veronica, III Samuel, and III Joseph. In 1808, she with her two sons, David and Isaac, and her daughter Veronica, moved to Canada and settled on the farm now possessed by Abraham H. Wambold, about one and one-half miles south of Berlin, and part of this farm is now possessed by Enos Shantz, one of her great-grandchildren. Here she resided until her death which took place September 25th, 1820. (Contributed by her son, Joseph) She was of an amiable disposition, rather small in statue but robust and of a quick turn. At 60 years of age she would mount her pony like a young man. She is buried in the Christian Eby Burial Ground, Berlin, Ontario. We shall now give the descendants of Isaac Shantz."
