7. | Warren Campbell Hastings (3.Warren2, 1.Adam1) was born on 21 May 1914 in Ottawa, Ontario; died on 11 Jul 1993 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Notes:
Warren Hastings was a pioneering neurosurgeon. He was the 300th Board Certified Neurosurgeon in the United States and the first person in the States to take the field of neurosurgery outside of a major medical center. He practiced in Fort Wayne, Indiana from 1948-1980. He served in W.W.II as a physician. He was educated at Oberlin College, Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He spent his childhood in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He was a shy but principled man who loved classical music, traveling and German poetry.

8. | Margaret Carlyle Hastings (3.Warren2, 1.Adam1) was born on 10 Aug 1916 in Ottawa, Ontario; died on 1 May 1993 in Sequim, Washington. Notes:
Margaret "Peggy" Hastings was a shy and very creative person. She painted, played the organ, wrote music and was a marvelous wildlife photographer. She and her husband traveled the world to photograph birds and animals. She was educated as a nutritionist at Kenyon College and worked for a short time in the field. She spent her childhood in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. In her married life she lived many years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, fifteen years in Holland and retired to Sequim, Washington.
