Our Norwegian roots begin with Kjetil Torkildsson Støvern who married Ingebjørg Larsdotter Kroken on October 9, 1749 at Holmen church in Sigdal parish, Buskerud county, Norway. A sketch of Holmen church is found here. The church was replaced by a new structure in 1853, a photo of which is found here.
