Register of Guest - Wurm Family Reunions
Our Wurm's in North America all settled first in Ontario. They began their new life in Waterloo County and later some headed to Huron County. From here we know that some of these Huron County, Ontario Wurm's left Ontario for Huron County, Michigan.
During the early 1900's continuing up until WW1, the Wurm's of Ontario and Michigan gathered annually for a family reunion. The location would alternate each year between Ontario and Michigan. At these reunions, attendance was recorded in a Register of Guests. Locating these Registers would be a significant contribution to our research.

Conrad Fischer and Margrate Sippel
Efforts continue to locate the birthplaces of Conrad Fischer and Margrate Sippel. At present the only clues are that Margrate's father was a fisherman on the Rhine River in Hessen, Darmstadt, Germany. Margrate and Conrad left Germany in 1851 departing from Port Bremen aboard the ship 'Stephani'. If you are researching parishes in this area of Germany and come across frequent occurences of Fischer or Sippel, please let us know.
