  From Ezra Eby Book Mary Shoemaker, "the eldest daughter of George Shoemaker, was born July 30th, 1802. She was married to John Landis who was born June 25th, 1792, and died July 27th, 1856. They had a family of ten children but none of them reside in Canada. They reside in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where their parents resided until their death.
